Easy Air Fryer Chicken Wings – Buffalo Style

Wings are some of the most popular snack/appetizer choices. Even if it is not a game day, they are always a hit with party guests. They are also some of the easiest nibbles to make.

I bought frozen wings in a 2.5-pound bag. ½ of the bag fits appropriately into my air fryer; therefore, I usually make two batches. Most frozen wings have an ice (frozen water) glaze to protect them from freezer burn. I like to let them defrost just enough so that the excess water drips away, but the wings can be frozen solid at cooking time.

Time: 25 minutes

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

1-pound frozen wings

½ tsp. baking powder

1 Tbsp. oil

Sauce:

½ stick butter

4-6 Tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce.

Goes with:

Carrot sticks

Celery sticks

Ranch dressing

Bleu Cheese dressing

And:

*Lots of napkins

Instructions:

Place wings in a large bowl, drizzle with the oil, sprinkle with the baking powder, Mix until wings are evenly coated. Air fry at high heat on a crispy setting for about 20 minutes. As air fryers differ in their settings and power, you should check them at 8-10 minutes to turn them over for even browning.

In the meantime, melt the butter and stir in the hot sauce. When the wings are golden, toss them in a large bowl, coating them with buffalo sauce. Serve hot with cold beer and condiments as desired.

Enjoy,

Mr. Fred
